About Us

Jungle Juice Bar (JJB) was established in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, in May 2013.  The concept of this uniquely designed smoothie and juice bar is based on the founder’s interest in holistic nutrition and commitment to an environmentally conscientious lifestyle. After discovering she was allergic to synthetic vitamins, she began juicing fruits and vegetables to benefit from the raw nutritional content. Friends and family were soon enjoying her flavorful combinations and attesting to the same improved health and increased energy.

 

Jungle Juice Bar offers a wide range of fresh fruit/vegetable smoothies and raw juice blends, as well as healthy snacks, sandwiches, salads and desserts.

Corporate Philosophy

 

As part of our commitment to operating a socially responsible business, we do not waste most of the pulp from the produce used to prepare our smoothies and juice blends. Instead, we re-purpose the pulp as an ingredient in our delicious desserts, Additionally, we donate our excess pulp to local farmers for compost and use recycled products when they are available. This Earth-friendly philosophy minimizes our carbon footprint and reduces our corporate waste to nearly zero!

Celebrating The Jungles of the World

 

Never in the history of mankind have jungles been so exposed to the risk of elimination as they are presently. At times, something said quite long ago seems as if it was said for an era in waiting. Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States said, “A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.” Our academia ensures a first-rate exposure to factories through study tours but is quite content if only a very few such tours are organized for the first-rate knowledge of jungles.
